Overview: Upon the departure of a colleague at AB, Mike was assigned the project (one of his last at AB) immediately prior to the proposal interviews during the contractor selection phase. John Potter was so impressed with Mike’s knowledge and attention to detail, he retained Facility Planning as his owner’s representative for the construction phase of the project (one of Mike’s first projects with Facility Planning).
Project Highlights: Developed on the former site of a vacated shopping plaza in Horseheads NY, Seneca Beverage created a state of the art beer and beverage distribution facility with an onsite fuel island, enclosed vehicle storage and room to grow. As with most wholesalers, energy efficiency was top of mind for John Potter, ThermoMass® insulated site-cast concrete wall panels for the warehouse and Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) for the office, ensured a highly efficient facility for years to come.
